  • Dr. Bassel Elsaghir, DMD

    General Dentist

    As long as I can remember, I’ve always wanted to be a dentist. I graduated from the University of Manitoba and I decided to practice in Calgary to be close to my family. Dentistry is an ever evolving passion of mine, and being able to actualize that passion through my patient care in itself is rewarding. I strive to create a calm and casual environment whereby you, the patient can feel comfortable to openly address your dental concerns. Whether it’s by building confidence in your oral health or educating your little ones on the importance of oral hygiene – it really does become more than just a dentist-patient relationship.

    We are fortunate to live in a time of cutting edge developments in this field that allow me to provide my patient with a wide variety of treatment options based on their specific needs. I am involved in a number of continuing education programs and have invested a substantial amount of time in developing my dental tool kit. Of a specific note, full mouth rehabilitation and dental implants; as well as diagnosis and treatment of different types of dental pain; have been a keen interest of mine.

    When I am not at the clinic I love to spend time travelling with my beautiful wife and our rambunctious 4 year old son. I spend most of my outdoor leisure time rock climbing or teaching my son how to play soccer (training the next Messi I’d hope). I also have a passion for music, good food and sci-fi movies – any Christopher Nolan discussions are welcome in my dental chair!

    I look forward to meeting you, getting to know you, and working together with you to achieve optimal health and function for your dental needs.

  • Dr. Greg Weleschuk, DDS

    General Dentist

    My wife Lindsey and I find fulfillment and pleasure by sharing the experience of raising a family. As our children get older we have been able to introduce them to some of our favourite activities such as camping, boating, fishing, skating, skiing, theatre and music. When time permits, I enjoy a casual game of golf.

    I graduated from the University of Alberta in 1985 with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery and a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology. Since then, continuing education has been ongoing and has allowed me to grow professionally.

    I have a special passion for implants and implant prosthetics as well as restorative dentistry. Currently, I am involved with a comprehensive treatment study club dealing with complex treatment cases.

    Hello and welcome to our dental practice! I am thrilled to have the opportunity to introduce myself and share with you the dedication I have for providing comfortable and exceptional dental care. Being a lifelong Calgarian, It’s a privilege to be practicing in the very neighborhood I grew up in and help friends and family who I have known for years.

    Preventive dentistry is the core of my practice philosophy. I believe in oral health education and thorough regular check-ups and cleanings to prevent potential issues. By catching problems early on, we can save you from unnecessary pain and expenses. If treatment is required, I stay current with the latest technologies and best practices to ensure you receive the best possible care.

    I see you and your little ones as part of my extended family. Your trust in me is valued immensely, and I am here to address any concerns and cater to your dental needs with care.

    Over the years, it has been wonderful to get to know my patients. I’ve enjoyed watching young patients grow up and start their own families. It’s such a compliment to me when these patients bring their children to our family.

    Growing up on the prairies, I was always interested in nature and studying living things. This led to my academic career at the University of Saskatchewan, where I received my Degree in Physiology and my Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Upon graduating, I made my way to Alberta. My wife, daughter and I are glad to call Calgary our home.

    The most rewarding part of my career as a health care provider has been the lifelong relationships I have developed with my patients, I’m now starting to see the grandchildren of my earliest patients.

    I am enthusiastic about keeping up the evolving art and science of dentistry. Areas I am most interested are reconstructive surgery, TMD disorders, and full smile creation. I pride myself on being able to keep updated with the latest technology and equipment. I am committed to a lifetime of continued education, learning from the best. Also, a member of study club focusing on the rehabilitation and complex case planning.

    I am appreciative to have a wonderful administrator and assistant who are both committed to providing you with exceptional service during your visit.
