I grew up in Calgary just minutes away from this very clinic. I loved my time in the community here and my interest in sciences led me to study biology and psychology at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. It was a quick but exhilarating few years, and I had an amazing time exploring the city, meeting new friends, and sharing great experiences with everyone I met there. I went on to attend dental school at the University of Alberta, completing my degree in the Doctor of Dental Surgery program. Moving back to Alberta for dental school made me realize how much I missed the mountains and my family.
Outside of work, I love to cook and read. I also like to play badminton, tennis, and climb with my friends. Before dentistry, I worked as a private home tutor and during those years, what I found the most satisfying was working with my students and seeing all the gradual improvements they made and how it led them to become more confident in themselves.
The direct care and application of science and technology with the ability to work with your hands is what eventually led me to dentistry. My aspiration for my profession is to provide quality care that patients are happy with, and which will have a meaningful impact on their life. I am thrilled to have moved back to my hometown and I can’t wait to meet you and your family!
